PEMALANG - The Head of the Pemalang Regency Manpower, Industry, and Transmigration Office (DTKPT), Umroni, emphasized that this event represents the local government's commitment to building harmonious, dynamic, and equitable industrial relations, emphasizing that the creation of a healthy work climate is not limited to formal regulatory instruments alone.

"This competitive sports event, while upholding sportsmanship, togetherness, and solidarity, is expected to strengthen ties, enhance a sense of unity, and foster a spirit of collectivity among workers and laborers in Pemalang Regency," explained Umroni during the 2026 BBM Minisoccer Solidarity Mayday Cup Tournament, opened by Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro at the BBM Minisoccer Field in Banjardawa, Saturday (April 25, 2026).

"This strategy positions participatory and recreational activities as a catalyst to reduce structural tensions between employers and employees," Umroni emphasized.

On the same occasion, Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro, while officially opening the tournament with the kickoff ceremony, emphasized the importance of sports as a medium for internalizing noble values. In the executive's view, this tournament serves as a platform for social integration that strengthens the synergy between workers, employers, and the bureaucracy.

Regent Anom stated:

"Because this activity is filled with the spirit of solidarity, we are calling it the BBM Minisoccer Solidarity Mayday Cup 2026 Tournament. This event will certainly foster a shared spirit, shared sportsmanship, and shared solidarity."

Anom also emphasized that the essence of this activity goes beyond the physical boundaries of sport. Its primary focus is on fostering social capital within the community.

"We hope this isn't just about sport, but also fosters solidarity in the context of International Workers' Day, while upholding our togetherness as residents of Pemalang Regency, as businesspeople, and as athletes," concluded Anom.
