Dangdut Music is a Cultural Heritage Born and Grown Together with the Community and Loved by Generations
PEMALANG - Aryo, Chairman of the Pemalang Regency Branch Representative Council (DPC) of PAMDI, stated that this inauguration was not merely ceremonial, but also a crucial moment to strengthen unity as dangdut artists.
"Dangdut music is a cultural heritage born and grown together with the community and loved by generations. Through PAMDI, he hopes that dangdut music in Pemalang will continue to advance and prosper, creating entertaining music with noble morals," he stated during the inauguration of 31 PAMDI administrators, led by Frans Setyo Pranoto, Chairman of the PAMDI Regional Representative Council (DPD) of Central Java Province, at Locomotife Coffee on Saturday (September 13, 2025).
The event was also attended by Noor Faizah Maenofie, Chairperson of the Pemalang Family Welfare Movement (PKK), and Waskito, Secretary General of the PAMDI Central Leadership Council (DPP).
Furthermore, on the same occasion, Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro stated that the Pemalang Regency Management of the Indonesian Dangdut Music Artists Association (PAMDI) is expected to work together to develop Pemalang.
"Let's work together and maintain our brotherhood by entertaining through dangdut music and building Pemalang Regency," said Anom.
He also stated that this is a guarantee of always being friendly to everyone present and can make Pemalang have added value, not just as a city that is sometimes less well-known among other cities.
"By being present, we can all engage in activities, arts, and culture together. God willing, Pemalang will have a value that others don't have," said Anom.
According to him, when it comes to potential, tourism, and culture, everyone certainly has it, but the people of Pemalang will welcome everyone who attends with their friendliness, ability to entertain, and good communication. Everyone will miss Pemalang Regency.
